| Jan 31, 2008 The E winds are starting to pick up and the seas are building and the surf is going to get bigger throughout the day, but it is also going to be wind blown, rainy, & stormy. The winds are forecast to get into the 25 to 30 knot range later today and the winds will be switching more S & SW throughout the day which will add to the victory at sea conditions. Look for really good surf tomorrow morning as the next front pushes through tomorrow and the winds go NW, which will organize and clean up the swell. |
| Jan 30, 2008 The N winds have taken the swell in the middle of the night. Not much surf left at 7am this morning and the marine forecast is calling for more N winds all day. Look for more surf by tomorrow as the winds are forecast to go back out of the E and the buoys are still reading in the 6 to 9 ft. range. And on Fri it could get epic as the winds are forecast to go back N, barrels could be in your future. |
| Jan 29, 2008 The surf has built since yesterday and it is looking in the thigh high range at 6:45 am. The wind is onshore out of the S in the 10 to 15 knot range and is forecast to stay out of the S & SW all day. The buoys are reading in the 2 to 3 ft. range with a S swell and should build throughout the day. We had a low tide at 3am so the tide is coming in to a high at 3 pm. The surf is looking a little sloppy & choppy this morning, maybe it will clean up this afternoon. |
| Jan 28, 2008 Well the surf has not picked up and the winds are more NE than E. The buoys have dropped down into the 2 ft. range and it doesn't look like we are going to see much surf today. If we are lucky the surf may be longboardable by this afternoon or tomorrow. But this morning it is flat. |

| Jan 26, 2008 We have a little bit of surf out on the Gulf this morning with an E wind blowing and the buoys reading in the 3 to 4 ft. range. The swell is out of the E and the the surf is only in the knee to thigh high range, it may build and the marine forecast is calling for E winds all day and then becoming N tonight. We have a low tide at 9:30 am and the tide will be high at 11 pm. | Jan 23, 2008 Winds are light out of the N at 7am this morning and the surf is really clean and still holding in the waist to chest high range. Get out now and surf if you can. Hopefully it will last all day. The buoys are still reading in the 4 ft. range with a SSE swell direction and the marine forecast is calling for N winds all day, which should eventually knock the surf flat so get out and catch some of this surf while it is still good. | Jan 22, 2008 The winds have clocked more E and the swell is out of the E now also. The buoys are still reading in the 7 ft. range and the surf is in the waist to rib high range at 7 am this morning. We have a low tide at 10 till 9am and then the tide will be pushing in to a high at 9:30 tonight. The marine forecast is calling for N winds tonight, so depending on what time of the afternoon that front hit us the surf could get epic again before dark. | Jan 21, 2008 The winds are blowing ENE in the 15 to 20 knot range and the buoys are reading in the 7 to 8 ft. range with an ENE swell direction, but the surf is still flat as of 7am this morning. As the day progresses the wind is forecast to switch more out of the E and then SE by tomorrow. So look for some rideable surf by this afternoon and bigger by tomorrow.
