June 30, 2008 - 6:05am The surf is still coming in out of the SW the buoys are reading 2 ft. with a SW swell and it looks like shin to knee high this morning. The surf should stay in the knee to waist high range most of the day as the marine forecast is calling for SW winds through tomorrow. High tide is at 7:30am and the low will be 7:40 pm. Go surf.
June 28, 2008 - 8:10am We have another day of small surf but at least it isn't totally flat. We have shin to knee high waves and it should get a little bigger like it has the last couple of days as the tide gets a little lower and the sandbars are more exposed. We had a high tide at 6 am and the low is at 6 pm. The marine forecast is calling for SW winds all day in the 10 knot range and the buoys are reading in the 2 ft. range. Get out and enjoy the tiny surf on your longboard or possible a fish by this afternoon.
June 27, 2008 - 7:22am So the surf did get fun yesterday, and there looks like it could get fun again today, but just not as big. We have only shin to knee high wave coming in this morning, but the buoys are still reading in the 2 to 3 ft. range and the marine forecast is calling for S winds in the 10 knots. We had a high tide around 6 am and we will be having a low at 5:26 pm.
June 26, 2008 - 5:55am The surf is really small again today, but we do have some good news. The seems to be a low forming in the Gulf that is building the seas as I write this. The 262 mile buoy is starting to read in the 4.6 ft. range with an E swell direction, the 115 mile buoy is starting to read in the 2 ft. range with a SSE swell direciton so it looks like we have a tiny swell trying to make it our way. The marine forecast is calling for S & SE winds for the next couple of days so I'm thinking that we have some little surf headed our way. The tide is high at 6:25am and will be low at 6:13pm. The winds are dead calm at the moment and we have some ankle to shin high waves rolling in, but look for it to build by tomorrow. Go paddleboarding.
June 25, 2008 - 6:59am Now the surf has really gone flat on us. It will be a great day to just float around and admire the still like glass of the Gulf, it is amazing to imagine that this same body of water can produce 10 to 15 ft. surf on occasion. If you've never seen it you wouldn't beleive it by the looks of the Gulf today. Enjoy the summer.
June 24, 2008 - 5:57am Another really small day of surf maybe even a little smaller than yesterday, but still some shin high lines coming in out of the SW with the buoys still reading in the 1 to 2 ft. range. Marine forecast is calling for SW to S winds in the 5 to 10 knot range all day. So grab your paddle board or your big longboard and go surf.
June 23, 2008 - 6:04am Yea we have some little surf to ride. The buoys are reading in the 2 to almost 3 ft. range with a W swell and the surf is in the knee to thigh high range. The water is nice and glassy this morning and the marine forecast is calling for SW winds today so it looks like we will have surf all day today. The tide is high just after noon o'clock. Go surf.
June 22, 2008 - 8:27am The little storm that went through last night stirred the seas up a bit. The buoys are reading in the 2 to 3 ft. range and there is a possiblity of some surf today, if the winds will switch around more to the S. Right now we have a little bit of NW in the air. Looks like it will clear up today and be a nice day at the beach, so get out and enjoy.
June 21, 2008 - 6:31am No surf again and it is looking like no surf for the whole day. So lets go skating. Today is Go Skateboarding Day and we will be having Free Skate at the WBZ Skatepark, also some fun games and prizes and food. Come on down and enjoy the fun.
June 20, 2008 - 6:07am Today is the Summer Solstes which is the longest day of the year, and the surf is so flat that it looks like you could walk on the Gulf. Go enjoy this long day doing something fun. Tomorrow is Go Skateboarding Day and we will be having Free Skate at the WBZ Skatepark, also some fun games and prizes and food.
June 19, 2008 - 6:12am Well the flatness continues, so summer time is here for sure. It would be a great day to wakeskate in the Gulf, or paddleboard, or just float around. Tomorrow is the summer solstes and Go Surfing Day, which is going to be hard to do here because there isn't going to be any surf. On Sat is Go Skateboarding Day and we will be having Free Skate at the WBZ Skatepark, also some fun games and prizes and food.

June 16, 2008 - 6:45am We have lake like conditions today. The waves are so small and basically non existant this morining, I don't think there is anything to catch. It does look like a good day to cruise around on a paddle board as the Gulf is very glassy. Get out and enjoy the sunshine.
June 15, 2008 - 8:04am It is Fathers Day and it looks like we have no waves to report today. Unfortunately the waves have finally gotten so small that it isn't even rideable on a longboard this morning. We do have several storm cells surrounding us right now and we are forecast to get some rain and possible a little surf if the conditions are favorable. Go enjoy the day and Happy Fathers Day.
