| May 31, 2008 Another day of teny tiny surf only in the ankle to shin high range. If you have a really big longboard or a paddleboard you may be able to catch some waves. Could be a good day for teaching someone to surf, speaking of our surf camps are starting to fill up so if you know someone interested they should sign up soon. | May 30, 2008 The surf is real small but still rideable if you have a Stand Up Paddleboard. It doesn't look like it will build much today, but there is a chance of some slight building by Sun. | May 28, 2008 Unbelieveable, we still have a tiny little swell rolling in, with the waves in the shin to knee high range. The 115 mile buoys is only reading 1.6 ft. but the buoy closer in is reading 3 ft. with a SSE swell direction. The wind is dead calm at 6:30 am and the marine forecast is calling for E winds becoming S by this afternoon. Go surf while it is up because it looks like the winds will be N by tomorrow and the surf will probably be flat. |
| May 27, 2008 Wow, still some surf left and it looks really fun this morning in the knee to thigh high range and glassy. The buoys are reading in the 2 to 3 ft. range with SE swell direction and the marine forecast is calling for SE winds in the 10 to 15 knot range all day. The surf should hold and build slightly throughout the day. We had a low tide at 1:42 am and we have a high tide at 2:15 pm. Go surf. |
| May 26, 2008 Still a tiny little bit of surf left. You'll need a longboard or a paddleboard, this morning. It looks like the surf could build by this afternoon with the marine forecast calling for SE winds in the 10 to 15 knot range and the buoys already reading in the 2 ft. range. We had a low tide at 1:20 am and the tide will be coming back in till 1:45 pm. Hopefully the surf will build into the knee to waist high range by this afternoon. |
| May 25, 2008 There is still some little left over surf, in the knee to thigh high range. The wind is almost dead calm, with the buoys reading in the 2 ft. range with a SSW swell direction. Looks like this little surf may last most of the day but get out soon before the wind gets on it too much. |

It looks like we are going to have varible winds out of the E, SE, & S most of the day, the buoys are reading in the 3 ft. range and we have a high tide around noon with the tide going out to a low at midnight. The buoys are now reading in the 2 ft. range with a SW swell direction and the marine forecast is calling for the seas to build a little more out of the W. Hopefully we don't get any more jellies pushed in with this W wind. There is a high tide at 9:20 am and then a low at 9:12 pm. |
| May 18, 2008 Well the surf is gone and it doesn't look like we will see any surf today. There is a Family Fun Fest going on at the Navarre Pier parking lot, & the WBZ skate team will be doing a demo around 12 noon. There will all kinds of music and food. Pray for surf. |
| May 17, 2008 There is still a little surf left we have some small knee to waist high lines coming in, I don't think that the surf will build much more today as the winds are forecast to stay out of the NE which will hold off the swell. The winds are pretty steady out of the S & SE in the 15 knot range and the marine forecast is calling for S winds in the 15 to 20 knot range all day. The buoys are reading in the 5 ft. range with SE swell direction so we will have surf all day and it will probably be getting bigger thoughout the day. GO SURF. We have a neap tide today so the tide shouldn't effect the surf much, just waiting on the winds to build that surf up and send it in. Hopefully by this afternoon we will see something. The marine forecast is calling for W winds in the 15 to 20 knot range all day and then becoming NW this afternoon around 20 knots. The tide was low at 2:20 am and will be high at 2:50 pm. The marine forecasts is calling for those same 20 knot winds out of the S and becoming SW throughout the day. So the surf is up all though it is a little choppy and windy, it will be up all day. The buoys are now reading in the 4 ft. range with a SE swell direction, so go surf. The surf will be building all day and will be a little on the choppy side, but you should be able to pick out some fun rides. We have a high tide at 8:20 am and a low at 6:15 pm. The Bra Boys movie will be opening up in 2 theaters today, the one on 9 mile & one in Gulf Breeze, check it out. We will have the DVD's in by the 15th. |
