Oct 8, 2008 - 7:00am We still have waves although the swell is dropping and the direction is moving more S and will continue more to the SW throughout the day. The buoys are still in the 4 ft. range and we should have waist to rib high waves all day so get out and catch some waves as this swell may not last much longer. The marine forecast is calling for N winds by tomorrow which will knock the surf down. But the good news is that we should have surf by the weekend. 20% off all used boards at Waterboyz.
Oct 7, 2008 - 7:24am Well we still have surf, but with a lot of rain and wind. The surf is still in the chest high range and should stay that way all day. Winds are forecast to stay of the E in the 15 knot range and then become more SW by tonight. The buoys are still in the 5 ft. range with an E swell so go surf.
Oct 6, 2008 - 6:36am Surf is looking fun this morning with waves hitting the beaches in the waist to chest high range. The winds are out of the E in the 15 knot range and are forecast to stay that way all day. The buoys are reading in the 5 to 6 ft. range with an E swell direction. We have a low tide at 3 pm this afternoon and then the tide will be pushing back in the rest of the day. Go surf.
Oct 5, 2008 - 7:29am Yea, the surf is starting to show. The buoys are already readin g in the 6 ft. range with an E swell so the surf should be building all day. Right now this morning it is only in the shin to knee high range. We had a high tide at 1:30am now it is going to a low at 2pm and then will be pushing back in to a high at 2:15 am tomorrow morning. The winds are forecast to stay out of the E in the 15 to 20 knot range all day so I do expect the surf to build into the waist to rib high range. Looks like should have some surf for the next couple of days with more E winds through Tue. night. Go surf. We are having a big sidewalk sale this weekend Tons of stuff including surfboards 20% to 50% off.
