Matt Biolos began creating Lost T shirts while he was still in high school. Later, he went on to become a surfboard shaper while continuing to put his art on T shirts. He and his partners expanded the clothing line to include:

Eventually Lost Surfboards was born, and the company grew slowly and steadily over the years. Today, Matt Biolos still runs the company with Mike Reola and their partner Joel Cooper.
